Watch out for DCLA -- Solid group to begin with, then the transfers they brought in, make them easily a top 10 team.

1. Wilson 2.Calumet 3. Stuart 4.Varnum 5. Frontier 6. Granite 7. Braggs 8. ? Stuart should probably be ranked #2. The new boys basketball coach and his sons will be a force to be reckoned with. Probably would rank Frontier #4 and Braggs #6 based on their scores in the state tournament. Probably would put Battiest at #8 since their new coach is a really good coach.

I agree that Stuart should be very good. They already had a solid group and adding those 2 kids has a chance to make them dangerous, plus I believe they got a Kiowa transfer that can play as well. It's hard to take Calumet out of that #2 spot until somebody proves they are better. Class B has a lot of talent and should be really fun this year!

Battiest has a new coach and will b much improved. I expect them to b top 8 I'm not sold on Battiest yet. I saw them play multiple times last year and it just seemed like the "want to" wasn't there. When things got tough, they shut down. Plus, they lost a really good shooter. If Coach Grey can fix Stovall's motor, then they can be really good!

Buffalo Valley was pretty good and going to the state tournament when he was the coach there so I'm expecting Battiest to be pretty good.

I expect to see Chatty, Hammon, and another to be contenders from out west along with Asher from the central part.

Definitely not questioning Coach Grey's success, but Jace Hunter was a different animal than the Stovall kid.

Coach Johnston at Hammon should be getting back to the state tournament before too long. Great performance at Roff. Not sure where you are getting Chatty and Asher from unless you have seen them perform very well at team camps. I believe Chatty is very good with softball and Asher is very good with baseball/softball but neither are all that great at basketball as far as I know.

I'm sure he will definitely find a way to get the Battiest kids fired up and ready to compete in the state tournament. Especially if he knew that Coach Hall was let go due to not getting them to the state tournament after a while of coaching there.

They were in the game to go last year, and I believe they are bringing everyone back. Hammon will be good, but I think they are young. Look out for them in a couple of years for sure.

If those guys get some really good transfers, it will help them out quite a bit. Coach Johnston has a son on the team that graduates in 2027 so they should be decent for a little while.

Asher is traditionally good in basketball. They have a few gold balls.
