I must have missed that one. What did the article say and how is it related to what is happening now? Sounded like a kid didn't get to start and is now suing him and the school. I'm sure that is an oversimplification of what is going on but I can't get to the article to read it. I had heard this from a friend who had a subscription. The newspaper was the Tulsa World.

If you remember where that story is located, please post it where we can find it. I would probably pay for a subscription myself to hear that whole story. That does jive somewhat with what I have been told.
I do know that the original title IX claim centered around two things. First sexual harassment by creating a hostile work environment in which Coach Mazey's actions and rhetoric are undefendable and second with a quid pro quo sexual relationship in the form of an extramarital affair with one of the QB' moms from last year's team. She is also a teacher in the district.
I did hear that the coach that brought about this Title IX claim had a son that quit after game 4 when the son accused Coach Mazey of having an affair with the other QB's mom. He also accused Coach Mazey of placing an illegal listening device in the other QB's helmet that allowed Coach Mazey to communicate with him all game long.
I was told that Coach Mazey didn't deny either allegation and tried to turn it back on the kid because he had some post concussion syndrome after being knocked unconscious twice the previous year.
Really sad deal!

You seem to know an awful lot not to be involved in one form or another. How do you know what is true and what is rumor, unless you are involved. Then that poses the question what is your MOTIVE? ??

I am just an old guy who coached in Texas with the original whistle blower. I really feel he and his family were treated unfairly from the stories he told me and someone needs to cut through the BS and lies.
My only motive is that the truth comes available and that men that shouldn't be around our young athletes aren't while men that actually lift up our kids the right way are allowed to do so.
TFB, same question back at you? What is your motive and are you involved? Are you one of the enablers that have allowed this type of behavior to become acceptable?
