I feel bad for Holdenville. They have had so much talent over the last few years and still have not won a playoff football game. They have not won a playoff football game since 2005. Their best athlete from the last 2 seasons did not even receive an offer because of the style offense they run. I guess Barker only cares about getting regular season wins. Much like their basketball coach, they dont schedule real competition in non district games to make themselves better, hence as to why Holdenville girls completely fell apart against Bethel in area (Hville girls should not have even made it to area, they are lucky 3A had the weakest bunch of all time in that class) They like to flex a wewoka win when wewoka is mainly playing 14-15 year olds. They are so lucky Seminole does not play them in football. Eventually teams will figure out this Barker non scholarship offering offense and then he'll hit the road.

I would say that the sign of a good coach is to run the style of offense that fits his team. One athlete can't win games by themselves. To get into the playoffs is hard in football. Not everyone does. Its almost as hard as getting to area in basketball. Holdenville has come a long way from where they were 10 years ago or less. I doubt they ship him off anytime soon.
